Today we are going to discuss why connecting with nature is important for one’s mental health. We will look at how it helps to relieve stress.
Here are some suggestions to help you reconnect back with nature:
1. Start walking around your neighborhood or a nearby park.
2. Plant and tend your own garden.
3. Bring nature indoors and make your home a soothing, relaxing environment.
4. Consider purchasing a telescope to explore the sky at night.
5. Enjoy each season. When it rains or snow go outside and play in it. You will be happier.
So, turn off the T.V. or radio and go outside and bring nature into your life. You will find that you will be happier and less stressed.
