For the last few years, I have been seeing and reading countless headlines and research articles promoting the value of omega-3 fatty acids in a healthy diet.

Today, we discuss why omega 3’s are essential for a healthy lifestyle and the importance of keeping a balance between the omega 6 fatty acids and the omega 3 fatty acids. We also compare the typical US diet with the Mediterranean diet and see why the US diet lags far behind in health.
